Hello! New user here. Making a family video from 2021 and when I cut a particular video clip, it makes a pop or a click noise at the spot where it's cut. I silenced the whole video as I'm putting it to a soundtrack and no other cut video makes this noise. I've deleted the video and re-cut it in various spots, but it makes no difference. How can I fix this?

How do you silence video?...would have thought that was for audio.

But seriously, video doesn't make a pop/click, audio does. So however you may THINK you are silencing a track, you must not be doing it fully or properly.

However, using an edit tool that doesn't have builtin transition click supression will greatly raise the probability that you will encounter this not uncommon phenomenon. You should be able to manually zoom in to a few frames and do a crossfade or similar mix at each cut site, but with the wrong project and the wrong tool, that can turn out to be a lot of work.

    Give us more detailed info...
