  1. So, I'm planning on making a few DVDs of my own, and I'm curious about something... Would anyone happen to know the exact font used for the subtitles in this picture? If so, what is it?

    Looks like the old and sucky Arial.

    arial for sure but if you need more or less kerning for the outline... take a pick

    It may not look like it at first glance, but Arial is a bad font to use for subtitles. I know you are trying to recreate these DVDs in another language but there is no sane reason to choose Arial (or any of the lookalike clones).

    Here is an illustration why it sucks.
