I recently bought a German film PAL DVD and the DVD pack cover mentions having english subtitles. However the subs are not seen on DVD player or any software DVD players.
Likely the DVD doesn't have it but then I've never came across a DVD like that.
Subextractor won't see the subs.
Any idea?
Thanks

Name of dvd. Link ?
But it would be quite rare IMO for a German issued dvd to have English subs. I have several. One does see an English dialog track (if that was the original language) but not subs. -
I second that. Very rarely do German movie DVDs have English subtitles (unfortunately, would go very well with the original English dub...).
Possibly it was an oversight when the cover was desinged, which may be a shared design among various releases of the movie in different countries.Last edited by Skiller; 30th Dec 2021 at 20:37. Reason: typo
