I've got a Pinnacle DC10+ capture card, running in a Duron 800, 192MB, 8 GigH/D. running VDub V1.4.10
What Iam trying to do is capture a uncompressed AVI using the following: (Thanx Maverik)
I set my capture res to 480x480 (not sure why this works, but it does).
1. Under Capture - Settings - I canged to frame rate to 29.97
2. under Video - Compression - I set to (No recompression: UYVY)
3. under Video - Set Custom Format - I set 480x480 uyvy yuv 4:2:2 interleaved.
4. under Audio - Compression - I set to DV Audio -- NTSC and 44.100kHz, 16bit, stero
5. under File - Set Capture File - Change this to where you want it to save the AVI and what you
wanna call it.
6. Capture.
My problem comes with the "No recompression: UYVY" setting all I can select, no matter what codecs ive loaded (got few in there now due to a format of the H/D) is one selection of "No recompression: MJPEG".
Is this a card type issue, a codec issue, or an ignorant newbie with the wrong settings somewhere issue LOL?
