Hi everybody, long time no see.
As a newbie, years ago I had produced some simple AviSynth scripts, extension *.avs. Last time I ran them was in WinXP, I guess.
Recently I found them again, but can't run them with VirtualDub(Mod) any more in Win10 Pro 64bit.
Getting errors like "DirectShowSource: cannot open as video or audio".
Would be grateful to anybody who can give me some clues.
    TIA Leo

    Avoid DirectShowSource.
It fails probably due to some Codec that is missing.

Better use something like FFmpegSource, AviSource, MPEG2Source, DGSource etc. depending on the video format.

Thank you. That's what I suspected. But then I need more help: which plugins do I have to get, and where to place them?
Within the Avisynth or the Vdub plugins subdir?
And talking about "depending on the video format", which one to use for quicktime (*.mov) files?
