I often rip DVDs to MP4 on my hard disk.
I have been using HD Decryptor for a long time but it is now telling me to renew or buy. It is supposed to be free. I contacted DVDFab but they tell me it must be a new protection, but it still fails with old DVDs. Is there any way round this?
Also, Handbrake works on some DVDs but not all. I am prepared to pay for a ripper that works well but they all seem to be very expensive. Is there any software that anyone can recommend. Free would be even better.
I understand the warez rules in this froum but the software I mention is legally available.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!

I should add, I know there are sevral freebies that do this but I would like one that minimises loss of quality during the conversion.
