I have captured HI8 Videos (720x576) and have deinterlaced them with QGTMC. But the PAR ratio is 5:4 istead of 4:3
Now when im working in davinci resolve i can save videos in 4:3 only which gives me smaller video size.

How to fix the Pixel Ascpect Ratio? Im using avisynth+ too

Pixel Aspect Ratio (PAR) is not actually the correct term here. It is Display Aspect Ratio (DAR). Your reporting program is assuming square pixels (PAR = 1:1) whereas they originally were not.

I am not familiar with your editor but I guess it is converting to 720*540 to give you the 4:3 DAR. But you really should not be fixed with that and can use any ratio to give you a true 4:3 eg 1440*1080. Both of these are ideal for 1920*1080 displays. FYI the true display for 720*576 would be 768*576

  3. Load your final video into clever FFmpeg-GUI, click main, click Change Video DAR, select the desired DAR, click Change DAR, done.
