So just as a FYI, I have an older JVC VHS C camcorder and I thought why not see if I my EZCap USB would work and digitize the footage. Low and behold, it works! YUY2 in VSDC Free video capture as well as Virtualdub2 worked perfectly! I found the drivers on the EZCap website, keep in mind, this is a real EZcap not one of the cheap chinese knock offs.
