Ugh, I'm out of luck. I'm on a mac and so this is not an option for me. I tried the online heroku app to extract the keys but that also gave me an authentication error.

If someone could get me the key (and also show me how to download these subtitles), I'd be so thankful!

Thank you so much! Do you think you could help me install Widevine Decryptor properly too, so I don't have to go around asking people?
I'm using Vivaldi as my browser and it doesn't work here. Do you have a suggestion for a browser (or an older version of a browser) where it works?

No idea where it might still work be honest, I thought that tool was long gone by now
I use my own CDM and some custom work done on tools that were released to the public over time and mostly been taken offline or require some digging to find a copy off.

So if you want to be able to do this yourself, get a working CDM (there are topics here that sort of describe how to get those, you need a rooted Android device that is not to new, but also not to old, install some software on the phone and run something on the computer to get the keys) once you have that, there are tools like WKS-Tools that people talk about here.

Or try http://getwvkeys.cc/ I haven't tried it myself but I am pretty sure that could work on NPO as you just need to add some header to your requests to get the key. So in theory that should work.

that doesn't seem to work, so yeah something custom most likely is the way to go.

I don't know about new, or what you have already tried, but the video is DRM encrypted and you'll need to download the video using something like yt-dlp and then decrypt it using something like mp4decrypt to make it playable.

yt-dlp and local files is a huge problem, it doesn't like that. it's possible but I forgot the exact command. It's something like --enable-file-urls file://path/to/mpd but I'm not sure.
Just use N_m3u8DL-RE for this one, it takes local MPD files no problem.

From what I read in your post (before you edited it) the base url was wrong in the MPD I sent you.
I hadn't had time to check yet.
