Trying to get some DV tapes onto my Win10 computer. The computer is detecting the camera after installing the legacy drivers for the IE1934 controller, shows as "Canon DV Camcorder" under imaging device and "Canon ZR85" under devices and printers. Camcorder is in playback mode with the AV->DV option turned on. I was able to get the device to work in Scenalyzer as "Microsoft DV Camera and VCR", but WinDV doesn't have it as an option under video sources.

try moving the windv.exe to a folder that isn't in c
rogram program files folder, make a new folder called c:windv and put the exe in there. once you've moved it, right click on the windv.exe, go to properties/compatibility and click the box to always run as administrator. it's a win 8.1, 10, and 11 issue.
