Any alternatives for chrome plugin HLS Stream Recorder?

Because some videos can only be recorded through "capture mode", but sometimes the video being recorded is split into multiple files and a new recording sequence start for some reason and I don't want that.

Are there any other software/plugin that easily captures the video in its original quality while you're watching it? Like you just press play and it starts recording?
