  1. Streamlink doesn't really love protected mpds.
ytdlp on the other hand loves them
    ytdlp --allow-u "https://abc-iview-mediapackagestreams-1.akamaized.net/out/v1/1ead6af29a8c4434a70db196b8628580/index.mpd"

Yeah, well, you probably need another mpd or you need to add cookies.

  6. Whilst talking iview.
I know this show / episode is available in 1080p but I have only had the option of 720p via yet-dlp

Any other methods for accessing 1080p vid?

  8. Well there you go. Why didn't you read what you posted to me?
Just change 720p.mpd in the link to 1080p.mpd

  9. Apologies, was not initially using an mpd link and was wondering if there was an easy way utilising regular link I had.

It must be that, only the 1080p mpd link provides encrypted Full HD streams. Which then need decrypting.
For future reference, I was able to filter mpd link from network tab of inspect browser function.

    Kindest Regards to all

  10. Fantastic, Firefox browser seems to have updated and now WG extension no longer finding a key. Worked yesterday.
I’ll have to do some more research on

“platform is wrong or the key…”

Don't expect everything to be spoon fed to you.

And turn updates off for FF and turn updates for WV off.

  12. I'm very new to this so need a little more info: "Just change 720p.mpd in the link to 1080p.mpd" - very confused as there wasn't such ending to begin with. Ends with "index.mpd"and every attempt to insert resolution there does fail (replacing "index", etc).
Is hidden 1080p actually there as saved mpd shows nothing in the open. Appreciate all the help.

Your case is a live stream, and I'm not sure if they have hidden mpd with 1080p for the live stream.
