    Please can someone be so kind as to help me with a problem.

    I Have a DVD Ripped on my Hard disk which is of a friends wedding but i want to convert this to a playable Video format.

    What is the best and easiest software to use please?

    'Best' and 'easiest' are not really the same.


    If you just want a playable format with no loss of quality feed the folder in to vob2mpeg. You file will be almost the size of the disk you ripped from. So


    If you want a smaller file with some quality loss then handbrake, which will also accept the dvd folder, is a fair place to start.


    If, however, you want something 'easy' and not be too concerned about quality there are one-click converters such as Any Video Converter which will also accept the folder.

    If your disc is a standard DVD-Video, use MakeMKV to rip and remux (put it into) to MKV. This will be a lossless transfer of the video.
