  1. I know some people have been able to download old videos from YouTube. I've tried a bunch of different methods but I can't seem to figure it out. Plus, I'm not all that tech savvy. I was wondering if there would be anyway to download this old video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6a2vkpu9EU

The video is now private. https://web.archive.org/web/20111105110356/http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6a2vkpu9EU is the link to it on the wayback machine but it says it hasn't been archived.

Surely there's got to be a way to retrieve this right?

I get this message on yt-dlp:
ERROR: [web.archive:youtube] n6a2vkpu9EU: HTTP Error 404. Most likely the video is not archived or issue with web.archive.org

    I tried 4 snapshots....same message

If it's been made private, then you can not download it from YouTube.
Try sending a message to the account holder.

There are multiple ways to send the account holder a message. Example...
    1) Comment on a visible video
    or
    2) If enabled, send a direct email (Go to their account>About>Details>View Email Address)
    or
    3) Many also have social media account links where you could contact them (Go to their account>About>Links)
