I know this is off topic but I figured someone here might be able to help.
I have an old android phone, a Huawei H867G. It stopped booting. Freezes at the second loading screen. I wouldn't care as the phone is useless anyway. The only reason it wasn't discarded years ago is because there are files on it that I want back.
I've tried several different things. But that was a while ago so I probably don't remember most. I know I tried several recovery programs with no luck. Many wait until after you have downloaded and installed them to inform you that you need root and/or adb enabled. This phone is not rooted and obviously I can't turn on debugging. I also tried wiping the cache partition. It made no difference.
Does anybody know of software (preferably free) or a method that will help? The recovery menu gives the option for "update from SD card. Can I fix or reinstall the OS without losing my data? Is there anything I can do?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!
