  1. When I am trying to split this one movie, it keeps saying "PTS underfloww" and "DTS underflow", and when it's finished, the video chops up near the split point. Any idea what is going on and what all that means? Thank you.

    Just read your bbmpeg log file, it tells you what the problem is. your total bitrate (video + audio) is exceeding the limit allowed in the svcd specs. Set forced mux rate to 0 (automatic) and then multiplex.

    This will result in a properly multiplexed mpg but you will essentially be making an xsvcd so proper playback on standalone dvds won't be guranteed.

    A buffer underflow is when the data cannot be sent to the buffer fast enough during playback, resulting in choppy playback.
