    It's your CDM. They've recently started blocking emulated CDMs, so you'll need to get one from a real device.
    thanks i will look into it .

    I have try it again with this link, but got error for file name, it will be fine if you rename folder peacock%20fixed-yaml to VT or Vinetrimmer. try again.

  10. Does it work for sports replays or just TV / films? If so what's the correct format to use when specifying the title?

    During the Olympics here, I may ask for many! But since you stated above. Can you provided Key to the Opening Ceremonies?

    HTML Code:

    <-- This is the NBC version, not the I guess world/BBC version.

    I have the mpd, or can get it. If you can provide keys, that would be awesome!

    Bumblebeee - Thank you so much for this! Downloading now.

    I assume you are using VT with a cdm from a physical device, over one created from Android studio?

    I can get VT to work with some shows, but not newer ones. I have not been able to figure out how to get the key alone without a device cdm. So thanks!!

  15. Just to save anyone like me from spending a day banging their head against a wall as to why none of their CDMs seem to work with the above posted VT (or similarly modified devine): make sure your codebase isn't in a directory with weird characters (spaces, commas, parenthesis, etc). It'll print all your configured directories fine, but then complain about "Invalid stream descriptors name/value pairs".

    Edit: That said, VT is for some reason only picking up the first ~15 minutes of a broadcast (and downloading and decrypting it fine), but if I use another program (yt-dlp or m3u8DL) to download the full broadcast and then attempt an mp4decrypt with the KID:KEY that VT reports, it doesn't work. Anybody know why that might be?

    Edit2: Finally got it working. For whatever reason, yt-dlp will download the last 20 minutes but in a full size file, VT will download the first 15-30 minutes, but N_m3u8DL-RE will get it all (and ffmpeg will correct the issue of it thinking it's twice as long of a video as it actually is after you combine video+audio). I think I must have been mixing the wrong keys between decode attempts earlier.

    How did you get VT with peacock to grab keys from live? I havent tried that actually. Still looking to figure out how to get sports and replays.

    I'm not actually grabbing live, just the replays. If you browse the olympics by sport the links will have a watch/assets/sports/... link that VT accepts. It might be using some sort of live stream component under the hood that VT doesn't recognize but yt-dlp does, but unless they're encoding multiple segments differently. Still working on figuring out that part.

    What did you modify in peacock.py for it to accept the watch/assets/sports/?

    I tried the following and maybe a few variations, but have not found one to work yet.

    Code:
    TITLE_RE = [
            r"(?:https?://(?:www\.)?peacocktv\.com/watch/asset/|/?)(?P<id>movies/[a-z0-9/-]+/[a-f0-9-]+)",
            r"(?:https?://(?:www\.)?peacocktv\.com/watch/asset/|/?)(?P<id>tv/[a-z0-9-]+/\d+)",
            r"(?:https?://(?:www\.)?peacocktv\.com/stream-tv/)?(?P<id>[a-z0-9-]+)",
            #r"(?:https?://(?:www\.)?peacocktv\.com/watch/asset/|/?)(?P<id>sports/[\.a-z0-9/-]+/[a-f0-9-]+)", # My add
            #"(?:https?://(?:www\.)?peacocktv\.com/watch/asset/|/?)(?P<id>sports/[a-z0-9/-]+/[a-f0-9-]+/\d+)", # My add

    The VT fork I'm using (linked earlier in this thread) skips the exact regex and is a bit more flexible about it:

    Code:
    def get_titles(self):

            if "/" not in self.title:
                r = self.session.get(self.config["endpoints"]["stream_tv"].format(title_id=self.title))
                self.title = find("/watch/asset(/[^']+)", r.text)
                if not self.title:
                    raise self.log.exit(" - Title ID not found or invalid")

            if not self.title.startswith("/"):
                self.title = f"/{self.title}"

            if self.title.startswith("/sports/"):
                self.movie = True

    Awesome! Thank you so much. I had used that fork from the zip above, I just didnt edit the last part correct in the peacock.py file. So I can get the first piece of the replay, use the key it spits out and just get the full stream with that key.

    And if you want to save a little bit of time/bandwidth, VT has the `--keys` flag which skips downloading and just prints out the keys

    I understand why people would want to try this software, but it's *** horrible to use. In the time it took to que up, analyze, download, and process one episode on Peacock, I could download an entire season using Devine.

    At the very least, I hope people are using the cracked version and not paying the ridiculous price for it.
    Its because those services on streamfab arent available on devine. Until people start sharing them, that crappy streamfab software will continue to be used.

    Peacock does work with the latest version.
    Or until people learn how to do things for themselves. You can't expect people to just give you everything.

    Like I said, I understand why people use Streamfab. Most people aren't interested enough to learn programming. But you make it sound like users have no other option because people aren't willing to share their scripts, when the actual reason is that they're not willing to do any work. Any service is available for Devine if you want it to be.
    hey man, I've been reading a lot on the video streaming downloading forums but I'm having a bit of an issue filtering all the information. It seems like i am starting at points where previous knowledge is required. if you had to start the learning process again where would you begin as a complete Noobie?

    If you're a complete beginner, I'd recommend watching/reading an introduction to Python to get the basic terminology and syntax down and then start getting your hands dirty right away. I personally don't learn a whole lot from watching videos, so I started out by picking apart existing code/scripts to see how it worked. Python is very readable when well written, so one tip is to go on github and look through established projects and see how they solve and structure things. Whenever I didn't understand something, I'd look up that particular part. This makes things a lot more focused and interesting than following some course where they want you to program tic-tac-toe or whatever. And with how far AI has come, you can ask it to explain code as you go. Once things started clicking, I'd try to write my own code using existing codebases as guides.

    For the DRM side of things, this forum is probably the best public source for it. You even have CDMs ready to go and plenty of scripts to study. The quality of the information varies a lot, and some things are kept under wraps because it's so public, but searching, reading, and experimenting a lot is the only way. And once you have some basic programming knowledge under your belt, things will become a lot clearer. Because it's all just code.

    For Devine specifically (and most larger Python projects), it uses a programming concept called Object Oriented Programming (OOP). So that might be something worth paying extra attention to. I remember that being the first big hurdle for my brain to wrap itself around when starting out.

    Using Claude AI (3.5 specifically in this case) has been tremendous for me understanding python and deciphering what would otherwise be gibberesh for a relative newbie like myself. Plenty of trial and error still, but Python and other related processes involved are much more clear to me. Claude can be finnicky when its trying to stay out of legal trouble, but being specific in what you are trying to understand instead of what you want Claude to do for you is better approach for something like this.
