HLS Stream Recorder can't capture page because it reloads to default video

I use HLS Stream Recorder Chrome extension because it allows me to record/capture the stream from the site to which I need to log in, if you have a recommendation for any other encrypted HLS recorder that can record or capture behind the login page, please let me know.

When I press capture the stream it opens the extension capture tab and then reloads the original video tab. But when it RELOADS it, the site goes back to the very FIRST video and NOT the one selected, so Stream Recorder fails to capture the one I SELECTED.

Selecting the video I am trying to capture again doesn't help.

Please let me know what can be done about this. For the life of me, I can't figure it out. None of the other programs I tried can even begin to capture the stream. Stream Recorder extension (and Cococut extension) are the only ones that at least can capture the very first video, but for other videos when I try to capture them page reloads and selects the first video by default.

The reason I want to capture videos is that the site goes down a lot for long periods of time and I would like the info to be saved offline so I can access it any time.

It's an m3u8 with AES-128 and a key provided outside the m3u8.

Basically, you need to download the m3u8, put in the proper link to the key, add the proper link to every single .ts in the m3u8, upload the m3u8 to transfer.sh or somewhere and download with Streamlink or something.
