Hello all, I am seeking the advice of the VDub/AVISynth experts here regarding removing or minimising the light edges/halo on some of my video. I'm familiar with Flaxen's VHS chroma shift filter in VDub, but that doesn't seem to work when the edge/halo is white. I have attached a sample file (I've joined a bunch of short clips together in my editor and exported in M8Y2). If that isn't "good enough", please let me know and I'll VDub the main file (also M8Y2) into smaller pieces and attach them.
Thanks a lot!

AviSynth filters like dehalo_alpha() and FineDehalo() can reduce them. But they can be pretty damaging to the picture (especially dehalo_alpha). If you're capturing your own video it's best to avoid them in the first place -- disable the sharpening filter in the VHS player if possible.
