Hello,
Trying to move my library of mini-dv tapes to digital. Can't get any software to recognize the camcorder. Panasonic PV-GS120 Looking for USB driver and capture software. I can see the camera on PC but can only pull over photos from SD card. No software that I've used can see or control the unit. I think I need the proper drive first but can't find it. Any advice?
This is possibly the driver I need. USB Driver NV-GS330 (16.13 MB)
The original software included was:
USB Driver
Webcam driver
DV Studio 3.1E SE
G.726 Audio Decoder

You do not need any USB drivers. The USB port on those MiniDV camcorders is purely for accessing the SD card and transferring photos. You cannot transfer MiniDV via USB.
To transfer MiniDV you need to use the Firewire (IEEE/1394) connection.
