    For the past couple of weeks the same topic have remained in the same place on the home page even if there are no new posts. Is there some sort of problem with the software that it's not updating the most recently posted or recently replied topic to the home page?

    i would be clearing your internet cache, and checking the settings. make sure it checks for new pages in one way or another. otherwise it will look the same always.
