I am recording video using a GoPro.
Resolution is 2.7k (2704x1520)
60fps
I am using Vegas Movie Studio 16 Platinum.
I only see output settings for 4k and 1080p.
So, I think the render is taking a lot longer since it is rescaling the frames.
How can I output without resize and just stick to 2.7k output video ?
Make Movie -> Advanced Options?
MAGIX AVC/AAC MP4 ?
MAGIX HEVC/AAC MP4 ?

I do not use the prog but I would have thought that there would be a 'user-defined' output option.
Is there a '[--]' button alongside the standard output dropdown ?
However you are dealing with 1. an older version of the program and 2. a more basic/standard program. Such options might only be available in higher products such as Vegas Pro. -
Yea, I can manually edit an existing option, but it blows my mind there isn't a defined setting for 2.7k.
There are dozens of choices for 4k 1080p 720p etc.
Is 2.7k proprietary to GoPro only? Even still, that is a major segment of video creation. -
Well that 2.7k may be a 'standard' for Go Pro it is not a standard output format. So, yes, it is proprietary.
I just read a guide that states that one of the advantages of 2.7k is for zooming in on the image.
You must consider where your final video is viewed. So a standard 1080p or even 4k is more appropriate.
