Hey there.
When I try to encode a DivX movie to SVCD, everything works fine. But when I try to play it on my PC, it says it can't find the right codecs ??
What kind of codec do I need excactly ?
I haven't burned it to SVCD yet, because I don't want to waste a CD, so I don't know for sure if my DVD player will play it.
Thanks.

SVCD is mpeg 2. If you download or install a software DVD Player on your system it should install the mpeg2 codecs. If you want to watch your file from the hard drive make sure that you use file mode and not cd mode.
