  1. Whats the fastest ,most reliable encoder out there.
    I have heard LSX MPEG,but I have that and the probelm with not being able to open the majority of audio tracks from the DIVX is annoying so I gave up.
    Is TMPGE still the way to go with the 7 to 8 hour encoding process the norm?

    It depends on the result you want.
    I havent done any divx lust svcd but I ve tested alot and found out that at least for svcds the fastest way is to do audio and picture seperatly then serve in cce or tmpgenc using avisynth. The source and the destination should be in dif HDs. Not many filters and keep the sound 48.
