I have a .sub (microDVD) file converted to .ssa and I need to put a permanent sub on the avi file. I used the howto at the left but when I use the subtitler filter the subtitles are not syncrinized with the video file (aout 5 sec delay). What can I do?
Thanks

Reasonably simple
Open your ssa subtitle file using Sub Station Alpha
Under the menu item Timing, there s a function called 'Shift timing'
Input the proper offset for your subtitles (you may have to do a bit of trial and error here), save the file and off you go.
Cheers
