  1. Evening all,

Last week I recorded some videos on my new endoscope, I recorded them through Corel VideoStudio X10 which I had done many times with my old endoscope. When recording the videos they looked fine on the monitor, but now when I'm trying to play the files they look encrypted and all pink. Is there a way to save the files or have I lost the footage? Why has it done this? Here is the file info:

Then you are out of luck. Nothing can be recovered here.

  10. Oh do you know why it happened?

  11. I don't see anything wrong with the file. It's not encrypted, ffmpeg doesn't detect any errors. What you see is what was recorded. Maybe you selected the wrong colorspace or something like that?

  12. I just don't understand it, I recorded on the same software, on my built in webcam, during the same session and it was fine, this looked fine on the screen but the file is all pink, I've contacted the manufacturer of the endoscope to see if they can shed any light...
