Youtube asking for an ID to watch age restricted videos

Hello,

So it happened. I heard that some people were unable to watch content because of that age restriction thing, and Google asking for ID / Credit card / DNA sample, and today it happened to me too.
I have tried everything. VPNs, Youtube-dll, Jdownloader, one gazillions youtube video download websites. No more horror movie channels for me I guess. Unless... Does someone has a solution?

Well that's the max resolution even when you watch it on Youtube directly.

@vmackey find a friend that can watch the videos and you can trust, actually a friend that can trust you and tell him to grab his youtube cookies and pass those cookies to youtube dl and you'll be able to download.
Dunno how long they will last though.

ok found a way. on next rel of yt-dlp this restriction is bypassed.
but now with latest 2021.07.24 not possible to bypass this restriction.
so, need python.
enter this code:

py -m pip install --upgrade https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp/archive/master.zip

this code update to latest version yt-dlp on python (not public now...)
then use:

yt-dlp python yt_dlp -F -v https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cuCwyC7Aml0
