If you think Photoshop is easy (and I do), then try Gimp or Gimpshop.

For a light duty photo viewer & editor: while it isn't free (may have a Trial term though, not sure), I've had a license to PMView for many years. It covers the very basic editing / converting stuff that is all I usually need to do in this category. (But definitely not a heavy-duty editor like PhotoShop.) The learning curve is negligible, start using it right away. Although it's a paid program, I can't recall the last time there was any fee for updates -- sure it's been many years now. I'd say that really counts for something these days, with so many programs trying to move to an annual license model.

Other than that, there is IrfanView, which I haven't tried for a long time.
When in Las Vegas, don't miss the Pinball Hall of Fame Museum http://www.pinballmuseum.org/ -- with over 150 tables from 6+ decades of this quintessentially American art form.

  6. I also use PSP but for free quick edits I use the free version of FastStone Image Viewer. Note that FastStone is also an photo editor and it is quick and easy.

Here's a link to their home page: https://www.faststone.org/FSViewerDetail.htm
