    Hi.
I have been given 5 Betamax tapes. I don't do many betamax tapes to be able to learn why this capture is the way that it is (video below).

The tapes are L750 Chromdioxid Super Video Cassette High Grade.

My Betamax player is Sony SL-C30E PAL.

I tried the tracking, but it did not help with the signal.
The player successfully plays other Betamax tapes fine.

Is the player incompatible with the type of tape?
Or is the tape losing its magnetic signal?

    Thanks for any suggestions

Your tape is trash. Timebase corrector might fix it
