well if you dont have the space u can always try nano dvr, winvcr
cyberlink something recorder
ravisent cineplayer dvr
etc....they all capture in mpeg, i gotta warn ya tho quality is bad
i odnt really know what iuvcr i so i cant help ya with the settings
but i depending on howq much space you have u can always try another codec,
sorry i couldnt really help ya further
perhaps clearifying your Q with your specs would help
in general its a good thing to always post your specs it helps people alot in giving you a usefull answer
good luck -
With computer specs basically identical to yours, when I use iuVCR, I capture to Picvideo's MJEG at a quality setting of 13-17 depending on the length of the capture and then I recompress it to another format (divx) for burning onto CDs.
I only have 7 gigs free on my harddrive and with the quality setting at 14/20 I can fit nearly three hours on it. The quality isn't lossless, but it's good enough for me and people often can't tell the difference between it and huffy or uncompressed when I show them clips.
There should be more than one MJEG codec available, but unfortunately, they're rarely free.
