Hopefully this subforum is an appropriate place for this query—I saw that there is a separate one for subtitles, but this one seemed most relevant. (I found one similar question in this subforum from almost a decade ago, but it involved a different website.)
I am trying to save subtitles that, as best I can tell, are posted/displayed as Annotations rather than in any standard subtitle format. Here is the site/video:
https://indiancine.ma/EIC/player/00:30:37.422
(No subtitles listed in the sidebar on the right, but English subs are indeed selectable within the player. On an info page, the video is listed as having 947 "annotations," which are surely the subtitles.)
https://indiancine.ma/EIC/info
I searched online for quite awhile and found some discussions of archiving youtube annotations back when those existed, but the processes and apps seem mostly defunct (and wouldn't replicate for this site anyway).
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

Well, playing around with regex, I have managed to come to this.
I guess all that is left to be done is to convert the seconds in HH:MM:SS format and prolly some small things too on the way. -
Any chance you (or anyone else) can explain how to download its movies, as well as the subs? Here's an example:

They're in the public domain so there shouldn't be any copyright problems, and there's no DRM. -
Videos can be downloaded with DownloadHelper add-on.
As for the subtitles, I don't really remember how I found them, but I think it was with Developer tools, network, save all as HAR, then open the file with Notepad, then finding a specific word from the subtitles, then playing with regex... but I think Nikse, the developer of Subtitle Edit sent me a version of Subtitle Edit that can easily conver those type of subs/annotations to srt.
This will save you the last part of "playing with regex".
I just tested and it works. I remembered correctly.Last edited by [ss]vegeta; 12th Sep 2021 at 02:18.

Thank you very much. I can take the video download information from here, but I might have to figure out what a "HAR" is for the subs and how to save it.
Thanks again!
