  1. I want to thanks notaghost for helping me out. But I would like to avoid having to bother people to download(record) things. Does recording DRM protected media lose definition?

Yes, because screen recorders use compressed formats like Mp4. The old Fraps screen recorder used uncompressed avi but its obsolete.

Screen resolution: (1920px1080p or 1280px720p) has absolutely nothing to do with compression.

Direct downloading/decryption/muxing avoids this, but no one is willing to help with knowledge to obtain keys.
