This is my setup/situation:
PC on lan stores video files in mkv and runs DLNA server (emby); TV (Panasonic Viera) on same lan plays videos.
Whenever mkv file contains one ore more EAC3 audio - files won't load in Viera, if one of the audio tracks is converted to AC3 (default flag set to yes) - files are loaded and played - both AC3 and EAC3 tracks are playable. So it seems like Panasonic Viera can playback the video with EAC3 audio, but only if AC3 track is present.
Would there be any solution to play those video files with EAC3 only, without going through conversion.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!
