Hey All!
I just found the above unit at a thrift store for $5CDN but couldn't find much info on it. I saw it had SVHS and thought maybe it being a pro deck might have a TBC built in. I currently use a JVC HR-S3500U and thought it did a pretty good job, but I know everyone says that a TBC is the way to go, so I've always been on the lookout for one.
Just curious to know if this unit does in fact have a TBC and if its any better then the one I'm already using.

A google search that you could have done yourself revealed it's a time laps recorder, so it may or may not be good for normal VHS playback. For $5 why worry, just get it and try it, post samples here for the members to look at.
