Help downloading video from CBC.ca

Hi,
New to the forum. I actually found it by Googling how to download videos from CBC.ca and noticed a number of people had success by posting their struggles on here. I am specifically trying to get the main video on this page called "Calgary Stampede Replay: 2019 Showdown Sunday" which is 2:18:26 in length.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Use a browsers Developer Tools (press F12 in the browser), on the Network tab set the filter to "master". Start playing the video in the main browser window. Watch for master.m3u8 URL in Developer Tools. Copy that URL and use youtube-dl to download it:

youtube-dl "https://mobilehls-vh.akamaihd.net/i/prodVideo/sports/CBC_Sports_VMS/819/718/Sports-Stampede-Championship-Sunday-2020-07-11-,852x480-1800kbps__295146,852x480-1100kbps,640x360-700kbps__474550,.mp4.csmil/master.m3u8?hdnea=ip=23.83.184.71~st=1625867173~exp=1625870203~acl=/i/prodVideo/sports/CBC_Sports_VMS/819/718/Sports-Stampede-Championship-Sunday-2020-07-11-*~id=6decb20c-80d6-4cd7-b2ec-67f373141e74~hmac=877fad12b3edb51bfd1a738fcda8be0e0e27a8274d167e372c481a0b5c540719"

That will download the highest quality version (852x480 in this case).

Thank you very much for the reply and instructions but I'm getting an error message from youtube-dl after it tries processing for a few seconds. Is it possible someone could download for me and provide a link? Apologies for the lack of knowledge on this, just on a bit of a time crunch.

Did you get a fresh URL using the method I outlined? You can't just copy the command line I gave earlier. The URL changes every few minutes.
