Hey everyone,
I tried to reencode a video file, which cant be played in VLC. The codec is XDCAM/mpeg2, the container .mxf. I used the following command:
ffmpeg -i S19.mxf -q 1 -ss 0 -t 1200 -frames 25 -codec:v mpeg2video -probesize (1000000000000000000000) -analyzeduration (500000000000000000000) output.mxf
I get the error message:
[mxf @ 000001bb40e5a780] could not resolve source track sequence strong ref
[mxf @ 000001bb40e5a780] broken or empty index
[mxf @ 000001bb40e5a780] error getting stream index 4294967295
[mxf @ 000001bb40e5a780] Could not find codec parameters for stream 0 (Video: mpeg2video, none(tv, progressive), 1920x1088): unspecified pixel format
Consider increasing the value for the 'analyzeduration' and 'probesize' options

Conversion failed!
Here is the whole error message:
I also tried extracting the frames, which also didnt work. Do you have any idea how to fix this file? Would be very thankful...ffmpeg -i S19.mxf -q 1 -ss 0 -t 1200 -frames 25 -codec:v mpeg2video -probesize (1000000000000000000000) -analyzeduration (500000000000000000000) output.mxf
