I tried the VDH help forum but didn't get any suggestions. Someone recommended this site.
For many months I've been downloading videos from a weekly event. Recently, the downloaded files have the video and audio out of sync in that the audio plays normally, but the video is speeded up for the first several seconds and then freezes at one frame for the rest of the hour.
I always download the mp4 entry with the smallest file size, because the quality is more than sufficient. ETA: I discovered that downloading the next higher quality has resulted in a file with no playback issues. I wish I knew why that is and whether there's a way to get the smaller file size to work.
What else do you need to know to help me troubleshoot and hopefully resolve this problem? Or do I need to switch to the different downloader?

Ah. It's a site I log into. If I copy the url from the page source it won't play in its own browser window.
Are there troubleshooting steps I can perform and report the results here? -
