  1. I Looked on Google to See how many GB a Standard DVD Movie is that you would Buy?
    It Says 4.7 GB Size.

    But 4.7 GB is the Size of a Blank DVD you would backup Photos and thing from your Computer to.

    It depends on how much video is going onto the DVD. They may be two episodes of a low-quality TV show that are only 30 minutes long each, so the DVD may only have 3gb of video data on it.

    On the other hand, a full-blown Hollywood release of, say, 90 minutes will use the whole 4.7gb available on the DVD to maximise quality. In most cases, good quality, late-release movies use a dual-layered DVD of approx 9gb to achieve better quality.
