  1. Hello All,

Good to be back and I have a strange situation. I filmed a show on an sd card. 1 of my workers mistakenly formatted the card. I was able to recover the footage using software. These are avchd files (mt2s files) and as you know are labeled 000 , 001, 002 and so on. Normally when I would import into premiere the files would join together seamlessly for as long as the scene was. I have 1 hour 10 minutes for the 1st act and 1 hour for the second act. This is not happening now and when I join them on the timeline I get that gap situation happen where we lose 1 second or so. Anyone know how I can merge them without having that gap? Maybe prior to importing them? Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

    Marc

  3. In my experience tsMuxer works very well for this.
Select "M2TS muxing", and append each segment with "Join" rather than the default "Add". Quick and lossless.
