Any Avisynth script known to fix wrongly deinterlaced video?
It was deinterlaced as BFF instead of TFF.

If it was deinterlaced based on wrong assumptions, the result us probably rubbish, because interpolation was calculated in the wrong way.
If you give us a sample, we can surely show you pieces of the video which got destroyed without a cure. Or find that something different happened. Let's try?
Once upon a time, I had a DVD Video of a cartoon "Kiriku & the Sorceress", and I'm pretty sure it was messed in a similar way, jitter and ghosting everywhere.
