  1. Hi, i have a sony dvd/vcd/cd player, but i cant seem to play any vcds that i burn. I use Nero 5.5 to burn the vcds and i have tried CloneCD 3.3.4.1, but they still do not seem to work on my player. When i play it on computer its fine, but just doesnt work on my player. Is it because my player doesn't support it, or burner doesn't burn it right, or I'm burning it wrong with my softwares. I need help, thanks in advance. :)

  2. I've been having the same problem with my Sony player, and I've been using VCDEasy. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it or what the different problems could be?

  4. you are using cd-rw discs right, not cd-r's ? and sooner or later you'll realize you should have bought a Pioneer as they play anything and any media.

  5. One easy way to find out is to bring you home made VCD to Circuit City and try it on many different DVD players.
I would recommend to try on Pioneer 333/343/525.
If it works (most likely it will) then you know the answer.

I have a Panasonic A115U which is supposed to play VCD but to date it's a no show except for Ricoh CD-RW disks. It depends on media type and quality of the media. I also have an APEX 1200 which will play almost anything. You may have to experiment with media to get the right mix.
