Converting video to TIFFs.
Noticed TIFFs has no DPI.
Do TIFFs need DPIs after all in this case?

What are you doing ?
DPI is generally not used in video scenarios, only for something like print -

Shouldn't matter. It is however many pixels it is. Only thing DPI changes is how large/small it prints out (barring a few browser rendering exceptions).
