I have an audio track in an .mkv file with these info:
Format : E-AC-3 JOC
Format/Info : Enhanced AC-3 with Joint Object Coding
Commercial name : Dolby Digital Plus with Dolby Atmos
Codec ID : A_EAC3
I use MKVToolNix on mac and I couldn't find a way where I can make that track just E-AC3 and remove the Atmos components.
Is there a way to do that? thanks.

Unless your A/V equipment can play Dolby Atmos it will have no effect on your system. If you have access to a PC there is the Popcorn Audio Converter than can turn the track into a straight AC3 in situ.
