Rigth after launching the next message appears below on the status bar: "Autoloaded 54 filter(s) (1 failed). Check the log for details", then I go to the log and seems the ffvdub.vdf plugin module doesn't load because it's not a valid Win32 application. I installed ffdshow and took its ffvdub.vdf to replace VirtualDub's but no change in the message. If this plugin was what would make my Win10 machine show VirtualDub's preview, now I'm seeing what could be stopping it from doing so...

How to make ffvdub.vdf load? Thanks

Hi davexnet, it's VirtualDub 1.9.11 (build 32842/release) by Avery Lee, I downloaded it from http://www.digitalfaq.com/forum/video-conversion/1727-virtualdub-filters-pre.html

    Thanks

    Try this version
    https://www.videohelp.com/download/VirtualDub-1.10.4.zip

Also the FFdshow package has to be installed, otherwise the filter will not load

I tested it myself using Vdub 10.4 and ffvdub.vdf (this version) in Windows XP (where I have FFDshow installed)

My mistake, VirtualDub's version was 32-bit, but ffdshow was 64-bit, now let's see if preview finally works under Windows 10... Thanks for everything davexnet!

ffvdub.vdf fails to load in VirtualDub
Running 64-bit Windows 7 here, the 32-bit VirtualDub crashes after trying to load the ffdshow plugin.

WORKAROUND: open the input video in GraphStudioNext, add ffdshow's raw video filter, save the .GRF file, open this latter with Avisynth's DirectShowSource().
