Hi,
So I have several srt files that have many lines with 2 words attached (that shouldn't be). Any idea how to fix that? I looked at the options in Subtitle Edit but couldn't find anything.
Thank you.487

Open the SRT in Notepad and insert a space between the two words. Save.

Doesn't Subtitle Workshop have a spell checker? beyond that, I've no idea
-
You're right, the spell check is probably the solution, I've just tried it with both Subtitle Edit and Workshop, but you have to check one word at a time, and there are over 900 words that need fixing.
Is there a spell check that lists all the mistakes at once? (like when Subtitle Edit lists all the common errors?) so that I can maybe manually uncheck the ones it got wrong but then let it fix all the mistakes automatically? -
Try and google for a srt that doesn't have all those joined words.

For Station 19 episode 4-07 go to https://subscene.com/,they have a version that's doesn't have those joined words.

Thanks yeah, I mean there's no other version that syncs with the copy I have.
But it's fine I'll use the subs without the joined words and resync them, it'll be easier and faster than fixing the original subtitles.
Thanks. -
If your videos are from blu-ray/dvd/amazon then it will be really hard to resync the subs due to different run times and scene changes/durations.
