I'm a newbie planning on buying my first video camera in the next couple months.
A couple years ago, I was videotaped giving a speech. The guy who filmed me set it up so that the text of my speech was visible in the camera. If I forgot the words, I could just look into the camera and read the words there.
Can anyone tell me if there is a name for this feature or technique? I want to make sure that I'm able to do this with whatever camera I decide to buy. Also, I'll be working alone, so it would be nice if I could figure out a way to scroll down the text - maybe by holding some kind of control in my hand.
Thanks for any tips.

Have a look here, quite a range. B&H are in New York a really fantastic store to just look at the gear available, I'm in Australia and they have sent items I've ordered to me over the years. I'm sure there would be camera stores in Seattle to check out.
