  1. I recently picked-up a Panasonic ES-15---hoping that the line TBC will clean-up the glitches in my video captures. But first, I have a couple questions:

What (if any) settings do I need on the ES-15, to take advantage of the line TBC on pass-through?

Do I need to pass the audio through the ES-15 as well (to keep it in sync)? Or, should I still run the audio directly to the capture device?

The line TBC is always on.
Find the NR, turn if "off" (still on, just not as aggressive now)
Black level in menu may need adjusting. I forget offhand which is best setting. You don't want it too light, nor crush.

Yes, on ES15 audio has delay. So route audio into it, back out.
    Not on ES10.

  3. Set Input to Lighter, Output to Darker. That gives the least banding (posterization).

Then adjust your capture devices proc amp to the correct levels.
