    Hi everyone
Any way to override this? Can't figure what am I doing wrong.

    MPD URL:

    https://azurewestus2.clearhub.tv/nmdcLGTV/20210212/4198242/sec-hls/4198242.mpd

    Used command:

    Code:
    yt-dlp --allow-unplayable-formats "https://azurewestus2.clearhub.tv/nmdcLGTV/20210212/4198242/sec-hls/4198242.mpd"
    Code:
    [generic] 4198242: Requesting header
WARNING: Could not send HEAD request to https://azurewestus2.clearhub.tv/nmdcLGTV/20210212/4198242/sec-hls/4198242.mpd: HTTP Error 403: Forbidden
    [generic] 4198242: Downloading webpage
ERROR: Unable to download webpage: HTTP Error 403: Forbidden (caused by <HTTPError 403: 'Forbidden'>); please report this issue on https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp . Make sure you are using the latest version; see https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp on how to update. Be sure to call yt-dlp with the --verbose flag and include its complete output.
    Thanks in advance !

  2. "--allow-unplayable-formats" will not actually allow yt-dlp to access a 403 forbidden web source.
Perhaps you need to pass a cookie or something.
Send proper link to stream and login info via PM so I can give it a go.

Thank you all for the information provided. The video isn't available anymore, but next time I come up with this kind of "protection", I'll try to use all the info provided by you. Thanks again
