I realize that video quality of any Philips BD player won’t come close to that of my Oppo 95, much less my Pioneer LX500 player. But I’m hoping it won’t matter much via the composite output to feed my 32” Toshiba CRT TV, which I still like to use.
But which late model Philips player with composite output also has zoom control at least over DVDs? AND once you zoom in on the image, does the remote let you move the zoomed image up, down and sideways to center the part of the desired image on the screen? Zoom won’t work with all BDs but will with all DVDs. Please verify by testing ASAP. Thanks.
