How To Download Live Science Vids? With youtube-dl ?

I've got youtube-dl (what's doing with it nowadays? has it really gone?) and I find I can't download a livescience vid about the mars chinese lander thing.

Anyone can help with that?

thanks for that. but I got this. I did the -U and got a march 14 version.

Get a fresh m3u8 URL with a browser's Developer Tools (F12), Network tab, filter for m3u8.

thanks. I"m trying now. but i am not getting any urls at all.

now i got some popped up in the right pane

when i put m3 in the filter bar it reduces to half a dozen and when i put m3u8 everything goes, nothing left, all blank.

i'm not doing it right I guess. can i trouble you for a tiny bit more help, please ?

If the video is already playing when you open Developer Tools it's too late -- reload the page with DT open. Or open DT before navigating to the page with the video.

Here's MS Edge playing the video with DT in the foreground. You can see the m3u8 filter is applied and the m3u8 link in the list.
